Rendiamo omaggio ad una canzone molto singolare e divertente, scritta dal comico (e matematico) statunitense Tom Lehrer nel 1959 e intitolata The Elements.

In questa canzone, musicata con la base di un celebre brano di operetta (Major-General’s Song da Pirates of Penzance), vengono recitati in maniera frenetica i 102 elementi della tavola periodica conosciuti all’epoca di Lehrer, dall’Idrogeno (1) al Nobelio (102).

In tre anni siamo cresciuti molto.
